Kazan Federal University is a fusion and replica of traditional and modern day form which believes in maintaining its principle of both education and research. The University has structured itself and stood up from all the 4 below divisions.
1. Institute
The university offers many educational programs under research and education such as undergraduate, graduate and post graduate professional degree. Pre university professional education programmes along with fundamentals and research project in a number of disciplines of relevant fields.
The structure of institute includes various divisions, laboratories, research and education centre, departments, and auxiliary units.
2. Faculty
Faculty is very much similar to the structure of Institute mentioned above. At present there is only one Faculty at the Kazan Federal University which is the Faculty of Law and it is headed by dean.
3. Division
Division includes a section of Institute that covers a group of specific subject area. Divisions are further divided into departments and each division is headed by head of division who are again answerable to the head of the institute.
4. Department
Departments are a part of both Institute and faculties. Role of the departments include supporting all methodological, educational, and research activities. Extracurricular and social work with students, retraining and training the research and pedagogical staff members.
